Any ideas what type of spider ? - Castianeira crocata
Defiance Klondike park, St. Charles County, Missouri, USA
June 7, 2008
Size: 1/2 ?
more than one seen in the general area, all were observed "foraging?" along a paved path in the open moved in short but fast spurts.

Moved
Moved from Redspotted Antmimic. After doing more research we're moving this one to C. crocata based on range, pattern & lack of white stripes on posterior tibiae.

Moved
Moved from Spiders.

Lovely color
looks like red-spotted ant mimic to me.
