Looks like a regular honey bee to me. I'm surprised to see it on that plant though, is it a Sedum?

Sedum
it is a sedum. These bees hit this sedum in droves every fall. I could get a picture with 100 of these bees on this plant!

What variety of sedum is it?
What variety of sedum is it? I have a dark variety called Jack Black that gets loads of bees.

Sedum variety is Autumn Joy
is "Herbstfreude" (hylotelephium) "Autumn Joy" - attracts bees, wasps and hornets in addition to butterflies late summer and early fall.
