Unidentified spider - Ummidia

Unidentified spider - Ummidia
Forest, Bedford County, Virginia, USA
Found my cat batting this around on my porch. I've never seen this sort of spider before. It reminds me of a funnel web spider, though I don't think we have any here in the U.S. Poking it with a fly swatter made it rear up on its hind legs. In the end I managed to push it back into the yard.

So anyone know what species it could be?

Trapdoor spider
It does look like one of the Australian funnelweb spiders, but that's because they're both Mygalomorphs.

This is a trapdoor spider. Possibly from Genus Ummidia.
