I'm still not sure how to tell female S. cuneata
from S. furctata, nor the males if I can't see the supra-anal plate. This is one species or the other, as are several others posted here from the southeastern states.

Beautiful image of a female bush katydid, genus Scudderia. Pretty much impossible to ID females to species unless associated with a male, sorry.
