Tiny moth - Argyresthia

Tiny moth - Argyresthia
Balaban front yard, Skokie, Cook County, Illinois, USA
June 13, 2008
Size: ~4mm
This was so small we didn't know it was a moth until we saw the image on the computer.

Tiny moth
This is Argyresthiidae: Argyresthia sp., nearest to A. austerella among the species illustrated by Busck 1907 (Proceedings of the United States National Museum 32: 5-24, + 2 plates). The life history of A. austerella appears to be unrecorded.

As you know...
I am no expert but you might want to look through Leaf Blotch Miner Moths (Gracillariidae).

I recent found what I believe to be the same Genus but I am still waiting for an ID.
