Arogos Skipper? - Anatrytone logan - female

Arogos Skipper? - Anatrytone logan - Female
Arnoldsville, Oglethorpe County, Georgia, USA
June 11, 2008
It may be of interest if this is an arogos skipper, as they are uncommon and threatened, and unusual to find in Georgia. This one is feeding on thistle, in a clear, occasionally mowed and disturbed area about 50 vertical feet above Goulding Creek in the Wolfskin district of southwestern Oglethorpe County (Piedmont region of northeast Georgia).

Appears
To be a female Delaware.

Yep
I agree with Delaware Skipper...that dorsal forewing pattern is pretty distinctive.
