BC Spider - Anyphaena

BC Spider - Anyphaena
Saanichton, British Columbia, Canada

Any help in identifying this spider would be helpful. Photo was sent to me by my dad in B.C. Says he's been finding them on the ceiling in their bedroom.

Thanks!

From Rod Crawford:
I suspect an Anyphaena, but can't be sure in this view. Certainly not
a theridiid.

Interesting looking
and quite fat, which isn't helping me. I don't think it's in the cobweb weaver family. Are there any closer shots of the eyes or shots of other spiders like this in the house? This particular specimen seems to have a drop of water or something on its head which isn't helping either. If I had to guess I would say it looks like some kind of funnel-web spider.

Could this be a cobweb spider
Could this be a cobweb spider of some sort?

Not an ID -
but this does look like a theridiid to me - might be a faintly marked or worn specimen of Parasteatoda tepidariorum (common house spider), although I'm not completely sure. Hopefully one of our experts will comment. Thanks for submitting this nice image!
