Cedusa
The broadly oval form and four round pustules on the last segments of the abdomen are distinctive. These Derbid nymphs are usually associated with rotting plant matter. Was there anything besides grass in the lawn?

Weeds
Thanks for your comments, Andy. The Cedusa was on the lawn but very close (15 cm) to a vast area of dense uncut weeds with probably a lot of rotting plant matter.
