Food
Mainly feeds on the sap of Taxus spp. (Yew), though it may also been found in small numbers on Prunus, rhododendron, dogwood, and maple.
Life Cycle
Overwinters as immature nymphs under ovisacs in bark crevices. Becomes reproductive in early summer, when two or three generations may be produced (June through August in the NY area).
