Moved
Moved from Polistes.

Oops!
And thanks for catching that.

Interesting observation
It is interesting to seee them in action. Too bad nobody IDed it, I wish I knew more about Polistes. Shall we move it to genus at least?

Hi Beatriz:
I don't know enough about distinguishing these wasps to make the move to Polistes. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Genus
I know the genus, what I am not sure of is the species, so I moved it. Let us hope that a specialist visits the page.

many thanks for ...
moving it to the appropriate area in the guide!

Mischocyttarus mexicanus cubicola
Not a Polistes, but another paper wasp in the genus Mischocyttarus (M. mexicanus cubicola).

Very cool behavior shots!!

Thanks George:
many thanks for the ID!
