Size: 2 to 3 inches in length
This creature did not mind me photographing him or her, I spent at least 30 minutes watching it and taking pictures before it finally flew away.

Lancet Clubtail
Looks perfect for a female Lancet Clubtail (Gomphus exilis) to me, mostly because of the extensive yellow dorsally on S9-10.

Thanks for the info, I went on google with your information and I think it was a female. There was a picture of one that looked exactly like it and she was a female. Thanks again. Carolyn
