Grasshopper - Dissosteira carolina - male

Grasshopper - Dissosteira carolina - Male
Sand Springs, Osage County, Oklahoma, USA
June 21, 2008
Size: 38mm (1 1/2")
Please help with ID.

Acrididae.
Really awkward angle to discern what this one is. Definitely a band-winged grasshopper, and quite possibly a Carolina grasshopper, Dissosteira carolina. Did you notice the color of the hindwings when it flew? They should have been black with a yellow margin...

....
No, I didn't because it never flew....at least not that I saw. It was on the bricks by a porch light. I guess it came to the light.
