red weevil with black spots - Rhodobaenus
Cades Cove, Sevier County, Tennessee, USA

Size: very small less than 1cm
I was in Cades Cove a week and a half ago and came across this tiny weevil. I would love to know the species if possible.

Looks like genus Rhodobaenus to me
- seeguide - but I'm not an expert. Possibly R. quinquipunctatus (below left) but R. tredecimpunctatus (below right) is quite similar.
