Bug antennae
Because of the small number of segments in the antennae, I'd say these are young bug nymphs.

jim, thanks for the hint about the antenna, but i observed an egg laying this morning, unfortunately the wind prevented me from getting any usuable photos... ted

 
Parents?
If the larger bugs pictured are the type that laid the eggs, then obviously the hatchlings would be bug nymphs. So are you asking for species ID on the parents?

They appear to me to be plant bugs (family Miridae) that suck juices out of plants and are therefore not especially beneficial. I can't begin to tell you what the genus and species are, although someone who uses this site might recognize it.
