This looks like the teneral form of N. hieroglyphica which is also found in Oklahoma. The elongated abdomen and "wide" tergites is indicative of that species. Does your measurement of the specimen include the wings or is it just the body? See the teneral below and see if you agree:

Length is body, not including wings.
And, yes we do have Hieroglyphic Cicadas in Oklahoma as I have here
So, you think this is a freshly molted Hieroglyphic ?
I didn't see a shed skin....but I really wasn't looking for it either.

Yes Sam,
when comparing your thumnail reference above I can detect the line that runs medially from the head bisecting the pronotum and ending at the edge of the mesonotum. In addition I see the dark color patterns starting to form laterally on this teneral which are so prominent on your thumbnail reference.
