Baby ladybugs on parade

I hope that some day we have somebody visit the ladybug larvae and ID all of these and many more. I had no idea that there were so many waiting for an ID and I had fun putting them together.

Update, 8/26/09. Seven previous "unknowns" were moved to genus or species pages. We are making progress!

As for the ones that have been IDed to species or genus level, here are some (I didn’t include the ones with a waxy coat). I added a question mark to some of them because I am not entirely convinced that they are where they belong, but I am no expert.

Calvia quatuordecimguttata (Cream-spotted Lady Beetle)

Chilocorus
?

Chilocorus orbus/fraternus complex

Chilocorus stigma (Twice-stabbed Lady Beetle)
?

Coccinella septempunctata (Seven-spotted Lady Beetle)

Coelophora inaequalis
?

Coleomegilla maculata (Spotted Lady beetle)

Harmonia axyridis

Propylea quatuordecimpunctata (Fourteen-spotted Lady Beetle)

working
Hi Beatriz, I'm not the expert you were hoping for, but I've started to try to work through these larva. Created a no-taxon page at the family level to clean up the family page a bit. And from several sources I'm beginning to get better info on ID of the larvae, so over time I hope to empty the no-taxon page too. Please let me know if I'm doing anything out of line with general BugGuide editor moves.
Thanks,
Tim

Thank you
I noticed the creation of that no-taxon page and I think that it was a very good idea. It wouldn't be necessary if we could separate adults and immatures as it is done in Lepidoptera, but that is another story.
Anything you do is a great help, so thanks again.
