Dragonfly - Tachopteryx thoreyi

Dragonfly - Tachopteryx thoreyi
Landsford Canal State Park, Chester County, South Carolina, USA
May 26, 2008
Size: approx. 6 in. diameter
Saw this dragonfly on the side of tree. It would fly away but kept coming back to the same spot. It was so well camouflaged and about six feet up on the tree that it was hard to get a better picture of it. I can't seem to find a picture of it anywhere to identify it. Can you help?

Grey Petaltail,
Tachopteryx thoreyi. I'm jealous - I've been wanting to see one of those up close for years! Nice photo.
