Scorpion Moth? - Apatelodes torrefacta

This is a photo that was on Coast To Coast AM website homepage: (http://www.coasttocoastam.com/gen/page2623.html?theme=light) The photo was taken by the person listed there and she requests assistance determining what it is. She refers to it as her "dragon moth". Her contact e-mail is : lazygirl2day25@yahoo.com and her name, as listed is "Suni O." I would like to know what it is as well. I entitled it "scorpion moth" because it looks like a scorpion to me. Thanks!
