"This does seem to be a Cyclosa but a little more extreme than
either of the spp. recorded for Indiana, so I'm not sure."

I think it might be a cyclosa. Compare with these.

 
But which Cyclosa?
He has that "squished in the middle tube of toothpaste" look of the C. caroli except that none of the literature mentions C. caroli in Indiana. Is that shape diagnostic? Could it be one of the other ones?

 
I can't help you past genus.
