Tiger Moth -
Apantesis phalerata
Hampshire County, Massachusetts, USA
June 7, 2005
Size: wingspan: ~25 mm
Found at our porch light. A little nudge got it to open it's wings. I browsed through Covell
(

)
, and only became more confused as so many species look alike. Any ideas?

Update
After spending more time browsing through the guide and cross-referencing with Covell, I arrived at
A. phalerata
. As always, if I am off, please correct me:)
