large brown snail

large brown snail
Alder Lake - Little Nisqually, Thurston County, Washington, USA
June 28, 2008
Size: 30-35mm (just shell)
A very large snail found climbing a tree in the woods near Alder Lake

This snail...
...looks like a species of Monadenia, possibly Monadenia felis, but I'm not an expert. I bet you it's at least that genus though... :)

I know, I know. This isn't a bug so I shouldn't try identifying it. But it's not like it'll hurt. ^U^

thanks,
it sure looks like you're right.
