Blacklight Bug

Blacklight Bug
San Mateo, San Mateo County, California, USA
April 22, 2008
Size: About an inch
This was at my friend's birthday party. It was neon so we had a lot of blacklights and this was found on one of them.
It got accidentally knocked into a soda cup right next to the light, and was flipped over in the process. I'm pretty sure we let it outside afterward.

Moved
Moved from Beetles.

Phengodes [a glowworm]

Thank you so much!
:D

Male Zarhipis?
I can't tell which genus this belongs to, but I would look at Zarhipis before Phengodes (both in family Phengodidae).
