Leaf Beetle - Cryptocephalus notatus

Leaf Beetle - Cryptocephalus notatus
Woburn, Massachusetts, USA
June 7, 2005
Size: 4mm
I saw a number of these beetles and on some, the orange markings were slightly different. I think they might all be the same, but I'm not sure. The other pics are right after this one.

Milkweed beetle
This is a Milkweed Leaf Beetle. Did you find it on a milkweed plant?

Not sure
Milkweed Leaf Beetles are 8-12mm and this is only 4mm. I saw about 10 of these, and all were on tree saplings(not sure what kind).
