dark-winged fungus gnat? dark-winged fungus gnat?

Yes, Sciaridae.
Indeed, this is a dark-winged fungus gnat. I have heard a couple reports lately of mass movements of sciarid larva (crossing the sidewalk, etc), so be on the lookout for that phenomenon, also. Nice image here!

Thanks Eric
I'll be watching for that.
