Nephrotoma macrocera - male

Nephrotoma macrocera - Male
Marlton, Burlington County, New Jersey, USA
June 20, 2008
I'm not sure if this is Tipula disjuncta (long antennae). It is a bit greener than those in the guide. Found "hanging-out" on the porch during the day. Male?

Moved
Moved from Tipulomorpha.

It is a male
of Nephrotoma macrocera . You are right on about the long antennae. Here is a link to show you how to tell Nephrotoma from Tipula. - Chen

Thanks again!
I always appreciate the help.
