Brooding male Abedus herberti - Abedus - male

Brooding male Abedus herberti - Abedus - Male
Huachuca Mountains, Cochise County, Arizona, USA
June 25, 2008
Size: ~5cm
I wasn't aware that males of this species could be found brooding so late in the year. From what I understand this is the only Abedus species found in this part of Arizona, and they seemed to be relatively common at every stream I visited.
