white fuzzy jumper - Acanalonia bivittata

white fuzzy jumper - Acanalonia bivittata
Brighton, Livingston County, Michigan, USA
July 3, 2008
Size: tiny
Ok I thought this was a piece of fuzz....then I saw it move. It was very tiny. It seemed like it could of been a jumper or hopper.

Moved

Nymph of Acanalonia
but we're not sure which one. From the images on the guide page here we would choose A. bivittata, but we don't know how many others are similar. Dr Hamilton may know.

Acanalonia bivittata
Apparently a color variety of the nymph.
