Crabronid wasp in the tribe Psenini. It would 'really' help if you had larger images that also weren't so grainy. Frankly, most of the experts here don't want to invest as much time in poor quality images. Sorry, but I have to be honest. Some of your images are just great, so I don't understand the inconsistency....

Eric- Thanks! Sorry about that. Simple answer, I am stretching the capability of my camera when the subject is less than 0.5 inch. Above that the camera seems to do well. Thanks for staying with me! If I further enlarged the insects below 0.5 inch, with my editing program, then the grainy would be unbearable.

The camera and editing also do better when the insect is colorful and not all black.
