Not sure what the plant was, but it seems to have a white hairy appearance, and the leaves were long, like mules ear.

Moved

Looks to be one of the Gnophaela
and they feed on plants such as Mertensia, Cynoglossum, and Hackelia which all have wide leaves. All-Leps lists five species. In the guide here
