This appears to lead to why my family is plagued by these no matter where we move. The larvae were dropping from our (now useless) A/C vents in the roof.
We have been pestered and plagued by Hermetia Illucens for some time now. Mostly during the summer. Anyways, thank you for providing this high-quality photo of A Hermetia Illucens Larvae. :D
(And yeah...Hermetia Illucens. I studied the Black insects ((EW, They're CREEPY!)), and found these to be the larvae ((I connected two and two to figure it out))) Well enough of my nonsensical rambling :P
