insect ID request

hi all-

i just found this site while trying to ID this bug. it looks pretty mean, if you ask me! luckily, it's only about 1-2mm in size. what is this thing?!?

Pseudoscorpion....
In the future, please post these in the ID Request.

It's a Pseudoscorpion of some kind, and completely harmless.

thank you for the quick response...and my apology for not noticing the ID section. i looked for that as a subforum here, but not on the other areas of the site. :)

looks like it's a "book scorpion". mystery solved and i'm safe! :)
