Unidentified Robber Fly - Ommatius

Unidentified Robber Fly - Ommatius
Montgomery, New York, USA, Orange County, New York, USA
July 5, 2008
Size: 14 - 16 mm
Genus or species?

Ommatius
Such a fine shot, you can see the branching antenna that define the genus. I believe we have only O. tibialis in NY so until we have new records, this female is tibialis.
