Sierra Slaticid - Habronattus americanus - male

Sierra Slaticid - Habronattus americanus - Male
Lake Tahoe National Forest, Sierra County, California, USA
July 3, 2008
I've never seen a Salticid like this before, with the red setae on the the legs and chelicerae, I'm quite anxious to learn what this might be.

You've got
a beautiful adult male Habronattus americanus. I'd love to get my hands on one of these beasties!

This is a pretty good photo, Will. You should crop it tighter to show it off a bit.

Thanks for the ID
And even more for the compliment, coming from you that means quite a lot!
