Don't know which Jumpimg Spider,
but Jay or one of the other spider experts will. Just wanted to suggest that if the insect or spider in the image is smaller than 560 pixels, it would help if you cropped your image to 560 or less. Only you and the editors can enlarge your image past 560 even though you post it larger. Also many of the images where the object is so small in the thumbnail version will eventually get frassed since they don't help someone browsing through thumbnails to identify their bugs. When you crop, the animal looks larger in both the thumbnail and the 560 version which makes it more valuable for the guide. We certainly understand that there are limits to what your camera will produce, but just wanted you to know.

Thanks John and Jane...I will
Thanks John and Jane...I will remember that and I will try and ifix this image too...

I went ahead
and replaced this image with the better of your tighter crops, and will frass the other three for you since they don't add anything. (You could have done this by clicking the 'edit' link, and using the browse button to select the replacement photo. I don't mind helping though!)

I'm pretty certain your little beast is an adult male Anasaitis canosa.

Nice work Jay. I thank you!
