Three pages of Johnson's, so I doubt the guide needs ours. But, we would appreciate confirmation-- I'm so unsure when IDing spiders. Then, we can frass as needed.

Johnsoni
Adult male Phidippus johnsoni.

There are some subtle differences from princeps that are easier to see after careful study. You are also well outside the known range of that species.

Not an ID but another one to look at would be Phidippus princeps http://bugguide.net/node/view/3380/bgimage That is what it makes me think of.

Thanks for the time and help offered. I looked at princeps and thought it looked just as likely as johnsoni. (What pretty spiders!)
