wasp ? wasp ?

Chalcid wasp?
It'd a parasitic wasp; My guess is d it might be a chalcid wasp because of the modified back legs.

ID
It is in the Chalcididae. Some of them, at least are butterfly parasites.

Too bad it hurts Butterflies
Thanks again Andy for the expert i.d. It seems each and every bug has something out to get it... can't they all just get along ? I like the uniqueness of the little wasp , but I also enjoy the grace of the butterflies . Thanks again , sincerely Beth

Struggle
It's the story of Life. Pretty much all of its beauty derives from a desperate struggle.
