Nice little carabid in the genus Lebia. Not sure of species.

 
L. analis?
if you were in New Jersey, I'd say this one was L. analis (dark reaching apical elytra margin along suture). I believe L. analis reaches TX, just not sure what else might also be there that's not here.

sorry, not sure what your question is? If you mean moving this image to L. analis, please see the instructions under Help. If you meant seeing and learning of other possible Lebia sp. for your location, you'd have to consult a specific technical reference. I don't have AmBeetles with me currently, but you might check the Biblo for Lebia.
