Palo verde root borer.
This is a male Palo verde root borer, Derobrachus hovorei (formerly classified as Derobrachus geminatus). Very abundant right now, during the monsoons. Females are often even larger, with more slender antennae. THIS is why you should wear a helmet when riding a motorcycle:-)
