Small Robber - Tipulogaster glabrata

Small Robber - Tipulogaster glabrata
Elysburg, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, USA
July 9, 2008
Very thin and fraile looking. Tipulogaster maybe.

Yes sir
That polished thoracic dorsum is only present on Tipulogaster. Only a single species in the genus. Takes skill to see these at all out in the field.

Thanks, Herschel
I have to agree, there isn't a whole lot to it.
