Orange Bluet - Enallagma signatum - Male
Chipman, small park on Salmon Rv backwater at Red Bank Creek, Queens County, New Brunswick, Canada
July 10, 2008
A male heavily loaded with mites...Looked for in 2007 on at least 6 occasions without success. Species first seen at 6 pm, becoming more abundant as evening wore on...
Although this species was first observed by Stu Tingley at the site about 6 years ago , this is the first "confirmed record" for the eastern half of the province.
