Hi, I found one of these in Charleston SC on 7/27/08, it was dead but is exactly the same. Has anyone answered your question yet?

No, unfortunately not. I have another cicada up for ID too.

After looking thru the guide, I am guessing this is a Neocicada hieroglyphica.
Can anyone comfirm / correct?
