Lappet moth - Phyllodesma americana - Male
Gilpin Creek Forest Service Rd., 7.2 km E of Grand Forks, Kootenay Boundary, British Columbia, Canada

The flight of this species does not usually extend into July in BC. However, due to the cold, long winter and spring, it is currently still on the wing. The pictured specimen was attracted to lights close to 2 a.m.
