Please correct me if I have the wrong identification - ID made by comparing images in the guide. I feel very lucky to have found this one posing for me next to Lake Ontario, having read they rarely perch.

The claspers at the end of the abdomen
certainly identify this as a male. It may very well be a young adult male, but it is definitely male. Here is a female for comparison
