Caterpillar
Faribault, Rice County, Minnesota, USA
June 25, 2008
Size: 2-2.5"
I found this mystery caterpillar eating leaves of a tree at a Southern MN Nature Center. It was approximately 2-2.5" in length and when lying flat against a tree branch it blended right in. It had a few sparse hairs and 3 grouped feet in front. Belly was a somewhat rose colored. It was mottled browns/grey. Thank You

Same as...?
Is this the same individual?

If so, they should be linked so we can consider them together.

If you have more than one view of the same individual, you can link them at the time of upload by going to the image you've already posted and clicking the "add image" link right under it in order to upload the next image.

For those which are already posted, you go to the first one and click "tag", then go to the next one and do the same, etc. Each time you tag an image, it a miniature "thumbnail" of it shows up in the upper-left-hand corner of the page along with those for any other tagged images.

Once you have all your images for the one individual tagged, click on the "link tagged images" link under the thumbnails, and you're done.

You might check something in the Catocala -
a guess based upon your description. But we can't see dorsal or lateral color patterns or number of pairs of prolegs from this angle to say any more.
