Orange Scarab - Odonteus

Orange Scarab - Odonteus
Nashua, NH, New Hampshire, USA
June 20, 2008
Size: about 1 cm?
Found under an old log in the wood by my old elementary school. I looked it up in a field guide back home & found a similar species, Bothynus gibbosus, but photos here don't match it at all.
Any ideas?

Odonteus sp.
This a female or minor male of Odonteus, probably aren't many species in NH but I'm not familiar with that area.

Moved
Moved from Bolbocerosoma.

Moved from Odonteus.

Odonteus, female
some in the guide already. Can't get to sp. from a photo though

I have a few more...
What is needed to identify the species?

Changed my mind
moved - looks like a teneral individual - ID is possible once the dark markings appear.
