Identification
Small, elongated beetles, convex in cross-section. Dillon and Dillon (3) give characters of the genus:
eyes entire (rounded, not notched), finely granulate
antennae almost filiform (threadlike)
tarsi appear four-segmented
tarsal claws broadly toothed near base
