green bug - Chinavia hilaris

green bug - Chinavia hilaris
Richmond County, North Carolina, USA
July 15, 2008
Size: 3cm
I was in a dense field, mostly grasses and blackberry but other plants mixed in. Bug on stem of blackberry. I suspect a stem/leaf sucking bug.
