Banded Longhorn - Typocerus velutinus

Banded Longhorn - Typocerus velutinus
Rural, Dane County, Wisconsin, USA
July 4, 2007
Looking for help identifying this beetle. Was not able to find a match looking through BugGuide. Looks closes to some kind of borer beetle, but am looking for further assistance.

Moved from Longhorned Beetles.

What do you think of
Typocerus velutinus in the guide here?

Typocerus velutinus
I thought I had looked through the longhorns and subpages, but must have missed this on the way through. It looks pretty clearly to be a match. Thank you much.
