Need help identifying...Think it may be a tiny dragonfly??? - Ischnura posita
Huntsville, Madison County, Alabama, USA
July 9, 2008
Size: about 3cm
Another view of what appears to me to be a baby/young dragonfly. I was night and raining very hard when I took several pictures of this stick like insect. You could not tell by just looking at it that it had any color on it but through my camera the green and the tiny wings showed up clearly. I zoomed in to capture the color...

I was just wondering if all o
I was just wondering if all of the pictures that I submitted are being frassed??? It seems like that is not quite fair for that to happen to every pic I submit and the Damselfly pics did turn out quite good I think. I would understand it more if they had been blurry or not close ups. I even made sure that I cropped them as was asked to do on other pics that I have submitted. I also have not heard anything about the one with the tiny egg looking things on the long stick like tail, what they are. I am very interested to know... Thank you anyway.

You can tell where your images are placed
by looking at the line of text above the image. On this image and one of the others in this set, you will see that they have been placed on the Ischnura posita page. The other two are in Frass. You can also check by clicking on Info tab anytime you are on a photo. That will give you information about the page which holds the images. You can also click on Images to see other images of the species or Data to see where the other images on BugGuide were photographed. So lots of opportunities for you to see where your images have been placed. And finally, if an image has actually been placed in Frass and you disagree with that placement, please do feel free to comment and say so as you have done here.
