....may I suggest 8113 - The Cinnabar Moth - Tyria jacobaeae (Arctiidae)? Linnaeus named it in 1758. Butterfly people don't have it this good :-))

 
Biocontrol agent.
This moth is a hero. It was brought to North America because the black-and-gold banded larvae feed on tansy ragwort, a weed that is toxic to livestock.
